Congratulations to the 2016 graduates of the Clinical Psychology Internship!!!
We extend a warm welcome to the incoming interns! The Psychology Internship is a wonderful example of a program that addresses the tripartite mission of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. The training is rigorous: Interns learn a lot about clinical psychology while also undertaking scholarly activities and completing their dissertation work. Interns provide important clinical service to patients, and through collaboration and outreach, interns and faculty in the program provide rich educational opportunities to other members of the Department. Thank you for all of your contributions!
We would like to extend a warm Thank You and Congratulations to Dr. Karen Wells, who is retiring from her position as Internship Director, and WELCOME to Dr. Christian Mauro, a passionate clinician and educator who has played a major role in the education of many Psychology interns, Psychiatry residents, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellows, and medical students during his time at Duke and who has worked closely with Dr. Wells during a period of overlapping transition. The future of the Psychology Internship is bright!
